The Workshop Collection
The Workshop Collection was originally founded as the Wilmer S. Snow Company in the 1920s. Since that time,
the Company has worked with some of the world's most visionary architects, inspired by their designs to create lighting as
unique and revelatory as the buildings it illuminates.
The Workshop's history is intertwined with many prominent architecture firms. From the Art Institute of Chicago, to Frank
Lloyd Wright's Home and Studio, to Louis Sullivan's Prudential Building, to the Bellagio Casino and Hotel in Las Vegas,
the Company's work illuminates remarkable sites even today. The Workshop Collection - specializing in custom design
manufacturing and restoration - is responsible for the creation of thousands of custom lights for residences,
commercial buildings and churches throughout the world.
From the simplest wall sconce to the most ornate chandelier, each project undertaken by our Workshop reflects the
uniqueness of the craftsman's skill and imagination. Archistoric Products can manufacture or replicate lighting
from photographic documentation, shop drawings or existing parts.
The Workshop Collection also offers a complete range of restoration services for fixtures of architectural or historical
significance. The Workshop's custom fabrication facilities, skilled craftsmen, huge inventory of antique lighting
parts and over 80 years of experience enable it to complete projects that are beyond the capabilities of almost
any other shop. Back >
